Introducing the "DOMINATOR"
The "DOMINATOR" AC Electric motor is rated 1500 continuous horsepower and is designed for Vector Duty.

The "DOMINATOR" motor is uniquely designed for superior performance throughout many industrial applications such as Oilwell Drilling, Marine Propulsion, Dredging, Petrochemical, Mining, etc.

The "DOMINATOR" is offered in horsepower ranges starting at 1150hp thru 1750hp.
Design Features
Unique superior cooling system, utilizing the Amerimex "Eliminator" 15HP Stainless Steel Blower
Center Mounted Stainless Steel Junction Box, allowing cable entry from left or right hand side, with Copper Bus Bar, Terminal Strip for low voltage connections, Lockout Switch and Pressure Switch, RTD's Connection Point. Junction Box is rated IP56
The "DOMINATOR" shaft dimensions and mounting dimensions are interchangeable with the most common drilling motors in the industry
Motor enclosure can be horizontal or vertical mounted and is rated IP44
ATEX Certified EEXE by Sira
ABS Certified
Temperature rating 145°C (293°F) rise at 45°C (113°F) ambient (ATEX Rating)
Form Wound 6-Pole Stator with vented laminations for superior cooling
Copper Rotor Bars and End Rings
V.P.I. System utilizing Class H insulation
Windings are MICA Kapton wrapped
Anti-friction Bearings for longer life
Insulated Bearing Housing (no special bearing required)
Drive End Bearing is designed for severe side loads
Shaft is a tapered or straight/keyed designed for side loads, with HUB. Material is high alloy steel, custom designs available
Single shaft extension or double shaft available
Six 100 ohm platinum RTD's, two per phase embedded in stator
Anti-condensation space heater
Encoder (optional)
Closed loop cooling (optional)
Spark Arrestor (optional)
